Tantric Massage Oil
Tantric Massage Oil is a Fractionated Coconut Oil
has been used in tropical countries for hundreds of years for health and beauty purposes. In the past few years the amazing uses of this marvelous oil are increasingly being recognised in Western countries.
There are so many uses for Coconut Oil:
As a hair conditioner
When hair becomes wet as when showering, water enters the hair and causes it to expand .Subsequently when hair dries it contracts. This repeated expansion and contraction of the hair results in what is called hygral fatigue. The effect is similar to that of cardboard that has been repeatedly exposed to wetting and drying. The hair becomes inelastic, prone to breaking and splitting and looks and feels like dry straw.
Using coconut oil as a pre-wash conditioner before washing the hair allows the oil to coat and penetrate the hair, repel water and combats hygral fatigue.
Apply virgin coconut oil 30 to 60 minutes before the shower and massage it firmly into the hair and scalp. Wash off with shampoo.
As a body moisturizer and massage oil
Finding a suitable full body moisturizer is difficult. There are many commercial moisturizers easily available. While they are suitable for use over small areas such as the face ,neck and hands there are problems using them over the whole body on a regular basis.
- They are expensive to use.
- .In order to improve the smell and texture of these moisturizers and also justify the high cost ,many synthetic chemicals, are used in these moisturizers. A look at the label listing the constituents of these moisturizers will make this clear. There is potential for toxicity with these chemicals. Why would anyone want to put something over large areas of their skin over long periods of time that they would not be willing to put inside their bodies.?
Coconut oil on the other hand is a completely natural ,relatively inexpensive, edible oil with many known health benefits and can be safely used as a whole body moisturizer without any problems.
Apply a small amount of virgin coconut oil evenly over the skin of the whole body and massage it firmly in. It is even better if someone can give you a full body massage with this oil as it is an excellent massage oil. Then wait for 30 to 60 minutes while you do something else like meditation, exercise, etc. The longer, the better. This will allow the oil to penetrate the outer layers of the skin and hair After 30 to 60 minutes have a shower with a mild soap or body wash. Avoid excessive /strong soap or body wash as you will not only wash off all the coconut oil but also the body’s natural oils. Try to wash off most of the greasy oil but leave a thin layer over the skin. With trial and error you will soon find how much you can leave on the skin without it appearing greasy or smelling of coconut oil . This will keep the skin soft and shiny and nourish it throughout the day.
If you do not like the smell of coconut oil on your body you can add a few drops of an aromatic essential oil of your preference to the coconut oil before you apply it. However don’t be surprised if coconut oil used on its own results in a natural body fragrance that your partner may well find interesting, oriental ,exotic and erotic.
As a makeup cleanser
Use a cotton pad dipped in coconut oil to remove makeup.
Oil Pulling for Oral Health
Despite regular brushing of teeth and flossing plaque and tartar tend to form in various parts of the mouth ,particularly under the gums. Over time this can result in gum and jaw disease ( gingivitis and periodontist). It has been estimated that 30-50% of the population have some form of gingivitis or periodontist.
Periodontists has been linked to increased inflammation in the body and disorders such as stroke ,myocardial infarction, atherosclerosis, memory problems, diabetes and erectile dysfunction. Gingivitis and periodontist also increase the risk of becoming infected with or transmitting several sexually transmitted disease causing viruses such as the HIV and hepatitis virus during oral sex.
Oil pulling involves using vegetable oils such as coconut, sesame or sunflower oils as a mouth wash and swishing or moving (pulling) the oil between the teeth and over the gums and teeth for 15-20 minutes ,preferably in the morning. Coconut oil has the advantage of tasting better than the other oils and also has antibacterial properties.
Many of the bacteria in the mouth have a lipid (fat ) coating or skin. which repels water thus making ordinary brushing and rinsing with water somewhat ineffective. These bacteria will stick to the coconut oil and be pulled out of the teeth and gums The anti microbial properties of coconut oil will also kill many of the bacteria. It is also claimed that the oil pulling also draws out fat soluble toxins such as heavy metals and pesticides from the body and functions as a detoxification process.
Oral health benefits of oil pulling include brighter ,whiter teeth, pink healthier gums, and prevention of bad breath .Other health benefits claimed without much scientific evidence include improvement in energy ,clarity of thinking, depth of sleep, lymphatic flow, premenstrual symptoms and regularity of menstrual cycles and reduction of headaches and sinus problems.
Though you will get some benefits from shorter periods of oil pulling, to get the full benefit it is recommended that it be done for 15-20 minutes Certainly your jaw will ache if you keep continually swishing the oil in your mouth for that length of time. The trick is to keep the oil in the mouth for 20 minutes but to do the swishing intermittently. Use no more than a tablespoon of oil. You should keep your mouth closed and your jaws relaxed. Swish the oil within the mouth by moving ( puffing ) your cheek muscles in and out. The oil will mix with saliva and air in the mouth to form a foamy emulsion . If you are in a quiet place you can actually hear the oil bubbles pop in your mouth. Try to move this emulsion between your teeth and over the tongue up to the back of the tongue where there are a lot of odor producing bacteria. Try not to swallow the oil though if it happens there is nothing to worry about as the acid in your stomach will destroy any bacteria.
After a minute or so or when you feel any discomfort in your cheek muscles stop the swishing . Keep the oily emulsion in the mouth. The foam will enter the crevices and gaps in the mouth and under the gums to do its work. After you feel rested start swishing again. In this way you can easily swish for 20 minutes without any jaw ache. During this time you can do other things like using the shower or toilet or computer. Of course you will not be able to talk or use the phone.
Once finished, spit the white emulsion out and rinse your mouth with water. Your mouth will feel fresh and clean as if you have just brushed your teeth. It is recommended that you also brush your teeth after oil pulling.
Most people find that the coconut oil has a pleasant nutty sweetish taste. If you don’t like the taste of coconut oil or find it a bit yukky to have oil in your mouth use a smaller quantity (one or two teaspoons) initially. You will soon get used to it.
Internal use
There is not much disagreement regarding the benefits of using coconut oil externally (topically) as described above. Any goddess can test it out for herself by using coconut oil for the various purposes mentioned above for a few weeks and see for herself whether it works for her and then decide whether to continue with it or not.
With regard to internal use of coconut oil as a food item however there is still some controversy. Coconut oil was once regarded as a very unhealthy oil because of its high proportion of saturated fat and conventional medical and nutritional experts largely hold on to this belief. However there are others who claim it is the healthiest of all edible oils as the saturated fats are medium chain fatty acids( MCFA) which are easily digested and metabolized and far from raising the cholesterol in the blood actually lower it. Coconut oil has also been claimed to cause weight loss, enhance immunity, prevent diabetes , osteoporosis, liver , kidney and pancreatic disorders, memory problems and dementia. It has antiviral, antibacterial and anti fungal activity.

"We love this oil and are really excited for new bottles to arrive. Yours is by far the best price and I love your service. The kids use it to massage and moisturize their skin when they get out the bath and well, it's a great tantra tool for us adults. I have previously given a review. But feel free to use this as a testimonial if there's a place it can be of use". (Emma 2019)
